HAND REJUVENATION BY FAT TRANSFER
Our hands among the first parts of the body show visible signs of aging. They show our age and care as much as our face. Everyone first notices the signs of aging and changes on the face, but all that is highlighted on our hands. For this reason, we offer our patients opportunities to rejuvenate their hands and maintain their youthful appearance.
AGING HANDS
Human hands age in the same way as the face, but hands are often less protected. Soft tissue – the fat on the hands, which gives them volume, gradually disappears, so the hands get an exhausted look, and veins, tendons and bones become visible. The skin on the hands wrinkles and loses its tightness. Also, the hands, as well as the face, are exposed to the sun’s harmful rays and are often less protected. Due to that, problems with pigmentation and texture often appear on the hands.
HAND REJUVENATION TREATMENT
There are several ways how we can rejuvenate our hands, give them volume, improve skin structure and tone, remove blemishes and age spots. Fat transfer is one of them and gives long-term results, as long as the body weight is stable.
HOW DURABLE IS THE RESULT AND HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Fats are taken from other parts of the body, processed and transferred to the hands. It is necessary to do 1 to 3 treatments, with the fact that with each subsequent treatment, more fat cells survive and remain permanently on the hands, as long as the body weight is stable.
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
